How do I cancel my subscription?

  1. Login to your PayPal account at www.paypal.com
  2. Click on the 'Profile' link

  4. Click on the 'Update' link in the ‘My pre-approved payments’ section

  6. Click on the 'Cancel Subscription' button and confirm

Can I create a free resume?

Yes. You can create a basic resume and download it to your own computer for free. To download your free resume click on the download link shown at the top of the resume builder page and select plain text.

I'm unable to access my resume?

To access your resume you need to sign in. Please make sure your sign in email and password are correct. Password is case sensitive. Get a password reminder sent to your email.

Your account will expire after 28 days of inactivity if you were trying free or after the end of your subscription period if you upgraded to full unlimited access.

How do I print, download, or email my resume?

To print, download, or email your resume:

  1. Make sure you are signed in
  2. Click on the print, download, or email icon/link shown above your resume
  3. Follow all page instructions

How do I remove page headers and footers when printing?

Where can I find cover letters?

To download our sample cover letters:

  1. Make sure you are signed in
  2. Click on the letters icon/link shown above your resume
  3. Follow all page instructions

How do I get my resume on one page?

To reduce the length of your resume you can try deleting or reducing some of the information you enter and select the compact template and a smaller size font:

  1. Make sure you are signed in
  2. Click on the template icon/link shown above your resume
  3. Select the compact template and small font

I'm having problems paying with PayPal?

All our payments are processed safely and securely using PayPal.

You need to make sure the card details you enter are correct and that the name, address, and other contact details you enter are the same as those registered for the payment card.

If you are trying to use a card that is already registered with a PayPal account then you must use that PayPal account to pay.

If you continue to have problems paying with PayPal then it's best you contact PayPal direct as they handle all our payments and are the best people to assist with payment problems.

How do I copy and paste my resume?

  1. Make sure you are signed in
  2. Click on the download link/icon shown above your resume
  3. Click on the download plain text link/icon
  4. Click on the open button when prompted
  5. You should now be able to select, copy, and paste your resume text. Please consult your own computer help on how to select, copy, and paste text

How do I change my sign in email or resume email?

To change your sign in email:

  1. Make sure you are signed in
  2. Click on the my account link shown at the top right of the page
  3. Scroll down and update your sign in email. Please note that once you have updated this you will need to use this new email in future to sign in

To change your resume email:

  1. Make sure you are signed in
  2. Click on the contact details link from the resume builder page and update the email address

How do I create more than one resume?

Click on the 'my resumes' link shown at the top right of the page after you have signed in to select, create, copy, or delete a resume.

How do I change my resume template, font style, or font size?

  1. Make sure you are signed in
  2. Click on the template link from the resume builder page
  3. Select and then save your new custom template

How do I add a new heading or section?

  1. Make sure you are signed in
  2. Scroll down and click on the add new heading/section link from the resume builder page
  3. Choose from the list or to add your own custom heading select 'custom section/heading' 1-5 from the list

Headings can be renamed from the resume builder page.

I have paid but my account has not been updated?

It normally takes just a few seconds after payment for your account to be upgraded to full unlimited access. However, PayPal can sometimes delay informing our systems that you have successfully paid and in this rare instance it could take several hours.

How do I email my resume and cover letter together?

It’s not possible to email your resume and cover letter at the same time using our website. We recommend that you use your own email software such as outlook or hotmail to write your cover letter as the content of your email and then attach your downloaded resume to that email.

How do I sort my entries?

If you enter a month and year entries are automatically sorted by date in order of most recent first. This is the nature of a chronological style resume. You can also choose not to enter any dates and sort entries yourself, simply select 'no date - sort' 1st-30th from the dates drop down list. This is common to a functional style resume.
